This project developed a comprehensive spatial vision for the Jeffreys Bay CBD, aiming to stimulate private and public investment while positioning the area as a dynamic hub for economic growth. The plan restructured the urban layout and land use zones, defined activity nodes, and improved movement corridors for both pedestrians and vehicles.
Design guidelines were established to regulate building coverage, height, and form, strengthening connectivity, accessibility, and the quality of public space. By fostering community interaction and economic activity, the project enhances the social and economic cohesion of the CBD while providing a clear framework for sustainable, future development.

Key spatial principles include:
- Use what is existing and strengthen positive aspects of the town CBD.
- Strengthen pedestrian aspects but also consider vehicular requirements.
- Developing design guidelines (with specific reference to coverage and height) to promote positive future development.
